Improve Website Navigation

Our maps are a great way to make your website more user friendly. Users can click on the state or region of interest instead of selecting an option from a drop-down list. Upon click, they can be redirected to the url of your choice. This not only reduces the likelihood of user error, but will make your site more aesthetically pleasing.

Add HTML and Pictures to the Popup Descriptions

Our map's pop-up descriptions accept HTML and can be styled using CSS. This makes the map very flexible. You can display pictures of your sales reps when the user hovers over a region. Or, you can make a list for each state. Start by customizing a blank map, or customize this template.

Show Multiple Links

Do you have more than one link per state? No problem. You can switch from having pop ups appear on hover to having them appear upon click. Then, you can use HTML to list as many links as you desire. You can learn more by following this short tutorial.

Make States Inactive

Make some states inactive so that a pop-up does not appear upon hover and the color of the state does not change. This setting is very useful if you do not have data or a business precense in a number of states.

Zoom into a Region or State

Is your business regional? Are you trying to visualize statistics for a only a subset of states in the country? It is possible to load the map zoomed in on a particular state or group of states. Alternatively, you can allow users to zoom the map out and fly from one region to another.

Display United States Territories

The United States territories of Guam, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and the Northern Mariana Islands are included in the map. They are hidden by default, but can easily be revealed. Add Location Markers

Add location markers to your map using latitude and longitude, or using our easy-to-use customization tool. Locations can be squares or circles. Their size, color and opacity are fully customizable. This is a great way to visualize city-level statistics or office locations.
