Create an Interactive Map of Any Region | Documentation

This is a short tutorial to show you how to create an interactive map of any group of countries in the world. This tutorial can be used to create an interactive map of Europe, Asia, Central America, or any other group of continents that you could dream up. Here is what you need to do:

1. Use our online customization tool at: http://simplemaps.com/custom-world
2. Click on "Settings"
3. Click on "Create Regions"
4. Change the composition of the countries in the region you would like to have the map zoomed in upon.  Remember the number of that region.
5. Click "Create Regions"
6. Click on "Settings"
7. Change "Initial Zoom" to the region number you remembered earlier
8. Change "Initial Zoom Only" to yes
