Small and island countries | Documentation

As of 3.1 the world map contains almost all small countries! However, we still recommend the following approach to emphasize small countries that are very small:

Because the map is to scale, we have excluded small countries and islands that are too small to be hovered over when zoomed into the continent level. We find that for the smallest countries, territories, and city-states, it looks better and is more functional to use locations and labels to highlight small countries. If you'd like to emphasize these small countries, you can add a label to the location. Here is an example using a location and label for Singapore:
